gr-graphVideo games are normally blamed for increased crime and violent acts in youth of world. Games like Grand Theft Auto (GTA) are considered are the main culprit. But this graph from U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Statistics shows that overall violence in youth has lowered. And is constantly decreasing since 1994 (When Playstation 1 was released).

So what happened is that games didn’t promote violence but they restrained street or real world aggression and transfered it to virtual worlds. The games time line was added at Game Politics, to show that no violent game increased violence on streets.
So, next time you turn the gore on in the game and see a lot of red blood pouring out after a head shot, then think its NOT blood.. its RGB 255,0,0
